    // D A Y I - MANHATTAN //

    First day in NYC. My sister and I landed in NYC around 6 am then we quickly headed to our Airbnb and then we freshened up a bit and grab some small bites and coffee at Little Skips.

    My high school friend, who studied at NYU and I reunited at the cafe. It's been a while since the last time we saw each other, so it was sweet and emotional to finally see her again, in a different city. NYC is where we both wanted to end up living and working. After cafe, we started our journey.

    We got our subway pass [7 days for about $32 USD]. I totally recommend to get the subway pass and get around by subway to anyone who is going to visit NYC soon. It is the most convenient transportation there. If you are not a fan of LA traffic, you will hate NYC traffic. After about 20-30 mins ride from Brooklyn, we ended up in Manhattan. We started to explore and visited some of the touristy places. We visited Bryant Park and of course we had to use the new and innovative bathroom. One thing that most people find annoying in NYC is that not everywhere has a restroom. So if you are around Bryant Park, this bathroom is where you go.

    Since it was part of our traveling day, so we knew we would be too tired to walking around and exploring, so we decided to watch a Broadway Show; we watched Wicked. If it is your first time watching broadway show, Wicked is one of the top shows you should watch first. Words cannot describe how I feel.

    We also stopped by the Grand Central and a few other places. And here are a few photos of my #ootd on my first day.

    but missed the Gala

    MET Gala is one of my favorite museums because it has lots of beautiful artworks. I loved the exhibition of Rei Kawakubo. The thoughts and executions behind it are what made me interested the most.

    // DAY IV - BIKING OVER THE BRIDGES //

    When you visit NYC, it is recommended that you take some times off to enjoy the beautiful city with some exercise. My friends and I decided to bike around and over the bridges. We booked our tour with a tour guide to show us around the city. We started with the Manhattan Bridge and then Brooklyn Bridge. They are both stunning and each one has its own beauty. You can get your exercise for the day while checking some of the fantastic spots in the city.

    // DAY V - SHOPPING DAY //

    It was my last full day in NYC and we decided to spend the day to go shopping. It was fun to check some unique stores as well as restaurants. Our first stop was at The Bagel Store. We had the unique and famous rainbow bagel. It was good but too sweet to eat as breakfast. It is just my personal preference. But if you are curious, please check out the store because they have many different colors and beagles. Afterwards, we headed to Soho, where we went to many different stores but we mainly window shopped and did not buy much.
